What English test do I need for Australia?

Most Australian universities accept IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE Academic. The typical requirement is IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for most programs, with higher requirements for law, education, and health programs (IELTS 7.0-7.5). For your student visa (subclass 500), you need IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, or you can take an English course before your main program. Some universities also accept Duolingo English Test scores.
