When you use Study Abroad Network, we may collect: your email address, name, country of residence, student status, destination and field of interest, program preferences, and any testimonial content you choose to share. We collect analytics data such as page views and click events only with your consent.
We use your data to power program matching, display verified testimonials, improve platform features through analytics, and — only with your explicit consent — share your contact information with partners when you claim an offer through our affiliate system. We never sell your data to advertisers or third-party data brokers.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You may also object to certain types of processing and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@studyabroad.network.
Testimonials are retained until you withdraw them. Affiliate claims are retained for 2 years for partner reconciliation purposes. Account and authentication data are retained until account deletion. Analytics events are retained for 12 months and then automatically purged.
Your data is processed by the following third-party service providers: Cloudflare (web hosting and CDN), Cloudflare D1 (database storage), and Stripe (payment processing, when configured). Each provider operates under their own privacy policies and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements. We do not share your data with advertisers.
We use three categories of cookies: Essential cookies are required for the site to function (session state, theme preference) and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies track page views and user interactions to help us improve — these are optional and require your consent. Preference cookies remember your settings (language, theme) — also optional. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the banner at the bottom of the page.

By accessing or using Study Abroad Network, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and partners.
Study Abroad Network is an information and matching platform, not an educational institution or immigration advisor. We do not guarantee admission, visa approval, or employment outcomes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your information up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have parental consent if younger.
You agree not to: submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; scrape or redistribute program data without permission; or submit testimonials that are fabricated, plagiarized, or deceptive.
The platform's design, code, branding, and original content are the property of Study Abroad Network. Program data displayed on the platform is sourced from publicly available information and partner submissions. User-submitted testimonials remain the intellectual property of their authors, who grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform.
Study Abroad Network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to decisions made based on program recommendations, affiliate offers, or testimonials displayed on the site.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. You may stop using the platform at any time without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Study Abroad Network operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.

Study Abroad Network is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard.
Our platform includes: keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, visible focus indicators on all links and buttons, ARIA labels and roles for screen readers, semantic HTML structure, reduced-motion fallbacks for users who prefer less animation, and sufficient color contrast for text content.
As an early-stage platform, some third-party content (such as embedded program data) may not yet meet full accessibility standards. We are actively working to improve these areas. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know.
